I have enjoyed painting and drawing for many years. Having studied art at teacher training college I specialised in teaching art at primary level, hence my interest in sharing work in the community, with Open Studios for example.

I took up painting with acrylics when I retired and was inspired by local landscapes in East Anglia and found plenty to see when travelling. I also enjoy experimenting with other media, and of course, drawing.

Although landscapes are my main focus, I have found that some of my work naturally falls into series, where shape or colour are predominant and includes some stylised or abstract paintings.
